Nexon Refund & Damage Verification Policy

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Nexon provides refunds only when gamers can demonstrate that their gaming equipment arrived damaged, defective, or non‑functional at the time of delivery. All claims must follow Nexon’s verification requirements to ensure fairness for the entire gaming community.
Mandatory Video Evidence of Delivery Damage

To process any damage‑related refund, Nexon requires clear, continuous video evidence showing:

  • Unboxing Footage — The sealed package being opened

  • Visible Damage — Cracks, dents, missing parts, or malfunctioning components

  • Shipping Label — The label confirming the correct order

  • Device Testing — A brief demonstration of the issue (e.g., console not powering on)

  Why Nexon requires this:
Video proof protects gamers from being blamed for shipping damage and protects Nexon from fraudulent or unverifiable claims.
Refund requests without video evidence cannot be approved
.

 Verified ID Requirement

To confirm ownership of the order and validate the claim, Nexon requires:

  • Government‑issued ID matching the name on the order

  • Order Confirmation

  • Proof of Payment

This ensures refunds are issued only to the rightful gamer and prevents duplicate or fraudulent claims.

 Time Window for Claims

All refund requests involving damaged equipment must be submitted within:

  • 48 hours of delivery, including video evidence and ID verification

Claims submitted after this period may be denied due to the inability to confirm the condition at delivery.

 Refund Processing

Once Nexon receives all required materials:

  • Claims are reviewed within 3–5 business days

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Nexon may request additional verification if evidence is incomplete or unclear

 Non‑Refundable Situations

Nexon will not issue refunds if:

  • No unboxing video is provided

  • Damage appears to have occurred after delivery

  • The ID does not match the order

  • The equipment shows signs of use beyond initial inspection

  • The claim is submitted after the 48‑hour window

NEXON REFUND & DAMAGE VERIFICATION POLICY (LEGAL VERSION)

 Scope and Applicability

This Refund & Damage Verification Policy (“Policy”) governs all refund requests submitted by gamers who purchase gaming equipment from Nexon (“Nexon,” “we,” or “our”). By placing an order, the gamer agrees to be bound by the terms set forth herein.

 Eligibility for Refund Consideration

Refunds will be considered solely for equipment that is alleged to have arrived damaged, defective, or non‑functional at the time of delivery.
Nexon reserves the right to deny any refund request that does not comply with the evidentiary and verification requirements outlined in this Policy.

 Mandatory Video Evidence Requirement

As a condition precedent to any refund review, the gamer must submit clear, continuous, and unedited video evidence documenting:

  • Unsealing and Unboxing of the package from its original, unopened state

  • Visible Physical Damage to the equipment or packaging

  • Shipping Label Verification showing the correct order information

  • Functional Testing demonstrating the alleged defect or failure

Failure to provide such video evidence will result in automatic denial of the refund request.
Nexon retains the right to authenticate the video and reject submissions that appear altered, incomplete, or inconsistent.

 Identity Verification Requirement

To prevent fraudulent claims, the gamer must provide:

  • A valid government‑issued identification document matching the name on the order

  • The original order confirmation

  • Proof of payment for the transaction

Nexon may request additional documentation if discrepancies arise.
Refunds will not be issued if identity verification cannot be completed to Nexon’s satisfaction.

 Submission Deadline

All refund requests, including required video evidence and identity verification materials, must be submitted within forty‑eight (48) hours of delivery.
Requests submitted after this period will be deemed invalid due to the inability to verify the condition of the equipment at the time of delivery.

 Review and Determination

Upon receipt of all required materials:

  • Nexon will conduct a review within three (3) to five (5) business days

  • Nexon may request supplemental evidence if necessary

  • Refunds, if approved, will be issued only to the original payment method

Nexon’s determination regarding the validity of the claim shall be final and binding.

 Non‑Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued under the following conditions:

  • Absence of required unboxing video evidence

  • Evidence indicating damage occurred after delivery

  • Identity documents that do not match the order information

  • Equipment showing signs of use beyond initial inspection

  • Submission of the claim after the 48‑hour deadline

  • Inability to authenticate the provided evidence

 Fraud Prevention and Enforcement

Nexon reserves the right to:

  • Report fraudulent claims to relevant authorities

  • Deny future purchases or services to individuals who submit fraudulent or abusive claims

  • Pursue legal remedies for intentional misrepresentation or fraud
